Before I came to college I really loved to read. Now I don't have as much time as I used to have to read, but I still make an effort. I think leisurely reading worthwhile materials makes for a more well rounded and intelligent person. Right now I am reading The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Women in Love by D.H. Lawrence. Both books are classic novels, which are the kinds of books I typically try and read. I do have contemporary favorites such as The Book Thief, The Kite Runner, and of course the ever-famous Harry Potter series.
